Yoga Psyche Soul: 12 month Temple Mystery School

A Twelve-Month Mystery School of Embodied Yoga

Runs monthly, starting Monday Sep 28th, 4-6:30pm pacific

Transformation doesn't happen all at once. It grows, blooms and fruits with time.

The Yoga Psyche Soul Temple is an invitation to spend a full year exploring the wisdom of the twelve goddess archetypes—not as mythology to study, but as living energies that shape our lives.

For centuries, yoga has been understood as a path of awakening—a way of remembering our wholeness through body, mind, heart, and spirit. Yet in today's world, yoga is often reduced to physical postures, leaving many practitioners longing for something deeper.

Yoga Psyche Soul is an invitation to return to yoga as a complete path of transformation.

Each month we gather in person (or jump in with zoom if you are not local) for an immersive retreat-style experience in beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho. If you are new to these practices: WELCOME! If you have traveled through a yoga teacher training before: WELCOME HOME! This is where we can stay connected, stay in studentship, and refine our leadership.

This is the FOUNDING CIRCLE of the Yoga Psyche Soul Temple- and it is for those of you who know:

  • Healing cannot be rushed.

  • Embodiment takes practice.

  • Community matters.

  • Our deepest transformations happen when we return—again and again—to the work of remembering who we truly are.

Imagine meeting yourself twelve different ways over the course of a year. You will discover and befriend your shadow and light through these 12 months.

This is the work of the Temple: to remember the many sacred expressions of who you already are.

Your Guide: Elizabeth Ruff, E-RYT500, Soma Bodyworker, Yoga Psychology & Ayurveda Practitioner

Creative Empowerment Retreat: Breitenbush Hot Springs, Oregon

You’re Invited to the Creative Empowerment Retreat

Are you craving a deeper connection to your evolving, authentic self?

Can you envision moving through life with strength, grace, and grounded confidence?

Join us for a transformative journey where you’ll build stability in your body, awaken your inner fire, and remember what it means to be fully alive. Through dance, ceremony, and yoga, we’ll receive a creative transmission of the elements—earth, water, fire, air, and space—guiding us into embodied expression and soulful alignment.

This retreat is a call to all men and women ready to ignite their power, awaken their truth, and move with purpose.

Come home to your body. Come home to your essence.

Over the course of 6 transformative days, we will explore each of the 5 Elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Space. Each day will focus on the unique energy and qualities of one element through conscious dance, playful yoga, fascial movement principles, breathwork and ceremony. When we learn to balance our elements, we can enhance our physical and energetic bodies.

This creates a harmonious connection to our chakra system and super-charges our whole life. The elemental map that guides this retreat leads you to a treasure chest filled with the light of your own inner healer and somatic wisdom.

This Fall, we invite you to the Breitenbush Retreat Center for an immersive experience that will awaken your creativity, embodiment, and connection to the sacred wild feminine.

Testimonials

Creative Empowerment helped usher me into the next stage of my evolution. The safety and potency created by Brietta and Elizabeth coupled with healing waters of Breitenbush was like returning to the womb to be born again. The magic of this healing journey was only heightened by how fun and playful these teachers are. It allowed me to access my authenticity and do important work with lightness and levity. I also made lasting connections with the other participants. Witnessing their journey was very inspiring. – Kelly Jeanne

Yoga Psyche Soul Immersion

What is Yoga Psyche Soul?

Goddesses serve as powerful symbols and teachers, representing various aspects of life, nature, and the human experience. Through their stories, we gain insights into our own challenges and triumphs.

Yoga Psyche Soul is learning through the lens of Yoga Psychology and Somatics. To bridge these, we use the 12 Goddesses of Yoga and allow them to serve as powerful symbols, archetypes and teachers. They can represent various aspects of life, nature, and the wide human experience. Through their stories and mysteries of the Goddesses, we gain insights into our own challenges and triumphs. Mythology, ranging from Homer's Odyssey to Red Riding Hood are one of the most timeless ways of teaching about human nature. Myth provides a beautiful bridge between Soma and Psychology.

Over four immersive days, we weave together ancient yogic philosophy, embodied anatomy, somatic healing, mythology, neuroscience, meditation, ritual, and contemplative practice into one integrated experience.

In this workshop we will practice meditation and slow-flowing, quieting yoga to explore the ways we embody intention.

Please bring a journal or paper to express your intentions. This workshop will be co-led with Amy Robinson.
