"I was very nervous when I arrived at Elizabeth's office. I had no idea what Soma was. She was very warm, self assured and funny. I had no idea what Soma actually entailed so I was surprised how much my feet hurt! Every time I left her office I felt like someone had just taken a 70lb backpack off of me. I like to use the word "mindful" to describe my shift. I walked different and I felt better. I think anyone, especially people in a career that involves lifting, FedEx, UPS, movers or anyone who has a long term injury would very much benefit from Elizabeth's treatment as well as the exercises. Elizabeth acknowledged and physically showed empathy for my long term injury. She helped me feel safe. It is so huge to have emotional support and to get your body back in great working order. It is wonderful. I worked for UPS for 4.5 years and for FedEx for 16, where I injured my back on the job. My passion is dancing. Elizabeth made this passion fun and easy again. I now teach dance at the Bell Towers and Bellydance at the City Gym, and work at the middle school in the Life Skills program. Elizabeth is wonderful and I feel great!"

"Elizabeth had a genuine curiosity about what was happening with me both physically and mentally. She has a welcoming presence that allowed me to relax and trust what was a pretty intense experience. I often left a session feeling more spacious inside as well as longer, taller. It's hard to describe. I became much more aware of how I carry myself and I often find that as I go through my day I am consciously adjusting my stance and my walk according to her suggestions. There is more of a freedom to my movement now."

Elizabeth is a wonderful person. There is something about her that shines and she immediately makes you feel comfortable and welcome when you meet her. One of the big benefits of doing Soma work with Elizabeth was the greater awareness of my body that was created. With her work, I have been able to change some negative body patterns in my day to day life. For me specifically, the work that was done with my feet, right sacro-illiac joint and TMJ were very beneficial. Elizabeth's work can benefit a great number of conditions. Her work can help people recover from acute and chronic injuries. I feel that an important aspect of Soma and Elizabeth's work is that she addresses the whole body and person. This allows for a deeper and more complete healing."

I want to thank you deeply for the Soma experience. It was transforming from the ground up, therapeutic, and profound. The feeling of literally being bent out of shape and then coming back into myself with strength, clarity, and wisdom from this voyage we undertook together over the past 8 months has been a gift. I came to you knowing that a few spots were troubling me and in the end we opened up channels and spaces I wasn't aware were closed. Your enthusiasm, unwavering support, and positive energy fueled my journey. I can't express how pleased I am with the results; the icing on the cake has been getting back into a yoga practice that I recognize as my own. Soma is truly a magical work and the result has been a feeling of grounding and connectivity to what I know as myself again. The postpartum body can be a foreign place and having Soma in my toolbox will be a key to maintaining my body in its lifelong journey."

"Elizabeth is clearly present and ready to focus her attention on my healing needs. I appreciated her assistance with and ties to my yoga practice and how it relates to her treatments. Be prepared for both expected and unexpected results. It may be the unexpected results that will be most life influencing. Elizabeth's series of treatments created healing and understanding from increasing the range of motion of a "locked up" shoulder to the profound of learning how to walk properly. I am able to sleep on my right side again. I have had multiple chronic pain issues for over 15 years. I have seen a variety of bodywork specialists. To date, Elizabeth has provide the most decrease in pain and increase in range of motion as well as understanding of emotional issues that may relate to the causes of the pain. I highly recommend her series of treatments to anyone who breathes."
